Since the late 19th Century, photography has recorded the multiple dimensions of the worlds of labor in Brazil.

In 2006, the exhibit "Labor and Workers in Brazil" assembled a selection of images belonging to archives located in all regions of the country.

This virtual exhibit aims at expanding the access to this rich material and at stimulating its use in educational activities.
