Abstract: Agripino Nazareth (1886-1961) stood out as a socialist leader in the Brazilian workers movement during the First Republic. After 1930 he started working in the Ministry of Labor and the Labor Court. He retired as a Labor Prosecutor in the beginning of 1960 and died on 1 August 1961. In this article, we will analyze the first part of his trajectory, in which he joined with other militants from various political and ideological groups, and became involved in several types of movements and made a variety of commitments.
